Hub8 Connect – June 2026
Hub8 Connect Series is a monthly gathering for Cheltenham’s tech and innovation community at Hub8 MX. It’s designed to bring together founders, operators, scaleups and innovators for a full day of support, collaboration and genuine networking.
Each session combines expert-led discussions, one-on-one clinics and office hours with industry partners – creating multiple touchpoints throughout the day for the community to connect, solve challenges and build meaningful relationships.
It’s not about pitches or forced networking. It’s about real conversations, practical support and bringing Cheltenham’s ecosystem together in one space to help each other grow.

P3M x Akamai Kick Off
P3M Works, a Cheltenham-based cyber security and digital transformation firm, has partnered with Akamai Technologies. The kick-off marks the start of a collaboration aimed at enhancing project delivery, cyber security, and digital transformation services.
Growth Hub Cheltenham Launch Event
In November 2024, The Growth Hub Cheltenham launched at the MX Innovation Centre, drawing 100+ local business leaders. Speakers included Ruth Dooley and Ian Mean MBE, who highlighted SME growth. Plexal CEO Andrew Roughan introduced the “Grown in Cheltenham” programme.

Yes. Hub8 MX offers event space for hire in the heart of Cheltenham town centre, tucked off Chester Walk at Minster Exchange. The space hosts conferences, seminars, product launches, networking events, and community celebrations, and more than 9,500 people came through Hub8 MX in 2025.
The main event space holds 100 seated or 150 standing guests. It features a stage and can be configured in Theatre, Conference, Boardroom, or Horseshoe layouts to suit your event.
No. The event space at Hub8 MX is open to external organisations as well as members, with half-day, full-day, and evening bookings available.
The space comes with a stage, a 100-inch screen, PA and microphones, high-speed WiFi, and technical support on the day. We can work with you to organise catering to suit your event.
Hub8 MX hosts conferences, workshops, panel talks, networking evenings, hackathons, and product launches. Recent events include the UK Cyber Team Final, the Growth Hub launch, and the monthly Hub8 Connect series, which regularly welcomes over 100 guests from government, industry, startups, and academia.
Hub8 MX is close to several town centre car parks, including St George's Place, Portland Street, and Monson Avenue, all open 24 hours. Royal Well Bus Station is a five-minute walk away, and there are secure bike racks and showers on site.
